My wife and I have been thinking about solar for a while. Now that we moved to the rural area of town where everything in the new house uses electricity so we agreed it’s time to look into solar. We got a hold of Realgoods Solar through one of our coworker. A few days later, we met up with Tom Schiebelhut, a representative from Realgoods Solar at our house to evaluate and discuss our electrical consumptions. We were very impressed with Tom’s professionalism, knowledge, and patience. Tom was very good about explaining our solar options, payment alternatives, and especially answering all of our “newbie” questions about solar. We knew we are in good hands once again when we met up with Realgoods Solar installation crew. They were very careful with everything they do. The crew kept us informed with the steps involved during the installation process. We were very happy with the crew’s craftsmanship and work ethics. The installation was very clean, organized, top-notch quality.
We had 42 modules installed with the generating size of 10.5 kW of clean power on both sides of the house. Once the system is up and running and after one month of usage, we were amazed to see that we were actually earned some credit back from the extra power we didn’t use that was generated by modules. We wish we could have gone solar sooner but we glad we did. Now we are looking forward to enjoy our solar productivity each month and knowing that we are doing a small effort on our end to reduce the pollution and keep the air clean. We highly recommend Realgoods Solar and Tom to anyone who is looking to go solar. God bless.
